FH0011 - Trail Drive Road

This is one of my personal all-time favorite captures and the only one I have gotten a copyright on to date.  Skyline Road south of Alma is one of my absolute favorite roads to explore along.  On this particular day I had ventured out as usual.  I came to a crossroad named Trail Drive Road and followed it a ways.  Upon turning around, the small tree at the very top of the hill caught my eye.  I usually have a circular polarizer filter attached to the end of my lens as I did that day.  I turned the dial and those clouds simply popped (I find the same thing happens when I put on polarizer sunglasses).  The road and fence leading into the horizon, those amazing clouds, and the little tree at the top all work together to make a very special scene.  I hope you enjoy it as well.
